About This Project
This onsite research study in Redmond, Washington focuses on gathering eye-tracking and heart rate data to enhance wearable sensor technologies.
What You'll Do
You will wear smart glasses and a heart rate monitor while performing guided activities such as resting, walking, speed walking, and light jogging on a treadmill. Participants will also provide feedback on device comfort, fit, and usability.
Requirements
- 18 years or older
- Ability to attend an onsite session in Redmond, WA
- Proficient in English (written and spoken) without translation aids
- Comfortable wearing smart glasses and a heart rate monitor
- Capable of light physical activity including walking, speed walking, and light jogging on a treadmill
- Arrive without makeup, permanent makeup, or sunscreen
- Present a valid government-issued ID or passport for security verification
Additional Information
- Session lasts approximately 60 minutes
- Participants with pacemakers or heart conditions should consult prior to participation
- Previous participants in Project Motion are ineligible
- Residents of Illinois and Texas are not eligible
- No ID means no entry
This study seeks diverse participants across age, ethnicity, skin tone, body type, and eye color to ensure broad technology applicability.
