About This Project
This project focuses on gathering comprehensive longitudinal health records from participants across the United States by exporting data from their personal patient portal accounts. The collected data includes laboratory results, vital signs, pathology reports, imaging summaries, and clinical notes.
What You'll Do
- Export your health records as an XML file from your patient portal account using a smartphone.
- Upload the exported file securely via a computer to the project platform.
- Review and verify that automated removal of personal health information (PHI) is accurate before submission.
Project Details
- Duration: 5 weeks
- Target: 500 health record submissions from U.S. participants
- Breakdown: 400 general health records, 50 cancer-related, 50 diabetes-related records
Requirements
- An active patient portal account with existing health history.
- Ability to export health records as XML files from the mobile app.
- Access to both a smartphone (for export) and a computer (for upload).
- Willingness to review and confirm PHI redaction accuracy.
- One submission allowed per participant.
Compensation
- $60 for health records covering less than 5 years.
- $100 for records covering 5 to 10 years.
- $150 for records covering over 10 years or from participants with cancer or diabetes conditions.
